A Marathon woman faces charges after striking a pedestrian in Sturgeon Falls. Nipissing West OPP said officers responded Tuesday at 1:36 p.m to the collision, which occurred on Front Street. During the investigation, it was determined that the driver was impaired. The driver was arrested and transported to the North Bay OPP detachment for further testing. Dayna Desmoulin, 33, from Marathon, was charged with operation while impaired, operation causing bodily harm, taking a motor vehicle without consent, and driving while under suspension.
