Driver swerves to avoid a kangaroo and lands in crocodile-infested water in the Northern Territory

A man has landed himself in crocodile-infested waters after he swerved off the road to avoid hitting a kangaroo on Wednesday afternoon.
He was driving along the Arnhem Highway in the Northern Territory when the kangaroo leapt in front of his car, and soon found himself struck in the creek.
The waterway was about 2km from an area known as Jumping Crocs, with saltwater predators known to lurk nearby.
Once the car was in the water the man was forced to climb onto his roof to stay out of the crocodile-infested water.
