Drunk driver hits building Drunk driver hits building PHUKET: Police arrested a drunk driver after the car he was driving hit a commercial building on Thepkrasattri Rd in Rassada early this morning (Mar 9). The impact left the car’s engine on the road some 20 metres away. Photo: Eakkapop Thongtub Lt Col Akkaradet Phongphrom and fellow officers from the Phuket Provincial Police along with rescue workers from the Phuket Kusoldharm Foundation were called to the scene, on Thepkrasattri Rd southbound near Soi Siangtai, at about 4am. At the scene the officers found a blue Mitsubishi Mirage, registered in Surat Thani, with heavy damage to its front and undercarriage.
