Dry state Bihar: Tejashwi Yadav slams Nitish Kumar on prohib

The opposition, both within and outside the state legislature, alleged that the mechanism put in place for the effective enforcement of prohibition in the state went kaput.

Patna: Opposition on Thursday launched an all-out offensive on the Nitish-led NDA government in Bihar over dissatisfactory enforcement of prohibition in the state.
Not mincing words, he alleged that not less than 50 lakh litres of IMFL had entered Bihar’s borders ever since prohibition was imposed in the state. 
Opposition legislators, in the same sequence, tried to disrupt the functioning of the state legislature on Wednesday too. The narrative of a parallel economy created by the ‘not ending demand’ of alcohol has now found takers.
