Published January 2, 2021, 2:34 PM The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) vowed to continuously assist distressed individuals and families in crisis situation. DSWD Secretary Rolando Bautista made the commitment as he disclosed that the agency has so far extended assistance to more than 808,000 clients under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS). “The DSWD continues to support the recovery of individuals and families from unexpected crisis through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS),” he said. He said the aid is delivered through the various Crisis Intervention Units (CIU) at the DSWD Central Office, Field Offices (FOs), and satellite offices in provinces.
