Dublin's New Bus Routes Starts Today By Ciaran Halpin Dublin Bus's new network will begin operating from today. The H route is the first service that will run, departing from Howth and serving areas including Baldoyle, Raheny and Malahide. It's part of a major overhaul of the service's network, with the C route to be launched next in October, running from Lucan out as far as Kildare. Existing routes 29a, 31, 31a, 31b and 32 are being replaced with the new H-Spine routes. 29a becomes- H1 (Baldoyle – Donaghmede – City centre) 32 becomes- H2 (Malahide – Carrickhill Road – Bayside – City centre) 102 and 32x Routes 102 (operated by Go-Ahead Ireland) and 32x (operated by Dublin Bus) will now operate via Strand Road instead of Carrickhill Road and Wendell Avenue. The remainder of both routes will stay the same. Special school routes 102a, 102c, 102s and 102p will not be changing.
