Duluth community mourns loss of Daunte Wright, calls for change

In the wake of Daunte Wright's death, a march from the Clayton, Jackson, McGhie memorial to Duluth City Hall took place Wednesday to remember him and call for change.
For one UMD student, the officer-involved shooting hit especially close to home because she is from the area.
"I am from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and its right next to Brooklyn Center,” Asma Jihad said. “So, I'm still kind of in shock a little bit because I have younger brothers—one around the same age as Daunte and one a little younger, so it's really hard to think about."
