The University of Dunaújváros is set to become Hungary’s center for training and development in the field of nuclear technology, the Innovation and Technology Ministry said on Friday. Innovation and Technology Minister László Palkovics, minister without portfolio in charge of the upgrade of the Paks nuclear power plant János Süli, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade state secretary Orsolya Pacsay-Tomassich met with University of Dunaújváros leaders on Friday to discuss the school’s future after its senate decided to make the switch from a state-run institution to a university operated by a foundation.
