Dyer appointed to Randall County Judge post AGN Media The action was approved via a 2-1 vote during the Court's regular session. "We had 16 people apply for the position," Precinct 2 Commissioner Mark Benton said during the session. "We cut that down to four and we interviewed them. All those people have been very involved with community and are great people. But we have to make a choice. I nominate Christy Dyer to be the next judge to serve out Ernie Houdashell's remaining term." Benton's motion was seconded by Precinct 3 Commissioner Bob Robinson. Precinct 4 Commissioner Buddy DeFord cast the dissenting vote.
