ASF ruled out for wild boar carcass found in Potsdam Groß Glienicke, Germany
 
 
African swine fever (ASF) has been ruled out from a wild  boar found in Potsdam Groß Glienicke, Germany.
 
The Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut (Federal Research Institute for Animal Health) was able to rule out the disease through extensive, additional examinations of the carcass.
 
 
There are now a total of 463 confirmed ASF cases in wild boar in the state of Brandenburg.
 
The total number of ASF cases in Brandenburg and Saxony now stands at a combined 480 cases.
