Senior ministers are meeting this evening to decide on the easing of COVID-19 restrictions through the summer. There will also be an expansion of the number of people at weddings to 50. The National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) has recommended spectators be allowed to return to matches and live events from August, with crowds of up to 5,000 in stadiums that have the capacity. Gyms and cinemas would be allowed to open on June 7th under the plans, while up to 200 people can attend large events outdoors.
