An upset member of public alerted FIRST Union that two New World stores in the town were blatantly advertising opening hours on Good Friday. FIRST Union southern regional secretary Paul Watson said he had contacted the Labour Inspectorate about the alleged breach of the Holidays Act, which requires most businesses to close on Good Friday.
