Effingham votes for Perdue, Loeffler By G.G. Rigsby Effingham Now Republican incumbents David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler won 74% of Effingham County’s votes for the U.S. Senate in the Tuesday runoff. With all 17 precincts reporting, Perdue had 20,671 votes, or 74%, to Democratic challenger Jon Ossoff’s 7,137 votes, or 26%. Loeffler earned 20,673 votes, or 74%, to Democratic challenger Raphael Warnock’s 7,127, or 26%. The results were unofficial and incomplete. In the only other race on the ballot, incumbent Republican Lauren Bubba McDonald Jr. received 20,719 votes, or 75%, to Democratic challenger Daniel Blackman’s 6,815 votes, or 25%, for Public Service Commission District 4. The election attracted 27,841 of the county’s 45,312 registered voters, or 61%.
