An elephant calf on Saturday was found dead in a swamp in Korba district of Chhattisgarh.
The carcass of the elephant, aged around six months, was found in a marshland adjacent to a pond in Saliyabhata village in the Katghora forest division, Katghora Divisional Forest Officer Kumar Nishant
