John Willey is not one of two finalists for post 7:00 pm, May 19, 2021 × OLIVIA — BOLD School District board members have narrowed their superintendent search to two finalists, with an Ellsworth administrator not making the final cut. The West Central Tribune reported that after interviewing four candidates on Tuesday, school board members agreed to bring back two of the candidates for a second interview on Thursday. Board members will interview Jim Menton, BOLD high school principal at 6 p.m. and Patrick Beiermann, assistant elementary principal with Willmar Public Schools, at 7:15 p.m. Along with the two, school board members interviewed Cori Reynolds, community education director at Brainerd Public Schools, and John Willey, superintendent/principal in the Ellsworth School District, on Tuesday afternoon.
