As the tourist season re-starts following the easing of restrictions and with an increasing number of visitors expected to visit Leyburn, its councillors led a community spring clean throughout the town and its outskirts. Approximately 15 hardy volunteers, a slightly smaller group than on most of the previous community efforts, enjoyed the Saturday morning sunshine and determinedly set about gathering-up the surfeit of carelessly discarded items.
