energy: Indian Oil Corporation to invest Rs 1,660 cr in join

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) will invest Rs 1,660.15 crore in a joint venture with NTPC Ltd to set up renewable power plants. The joint venture, IndianOil NTPC Green Energy Pvt Ltd, aims to meet the energy requirements of IOC refineries by generating a minimum capacity of 650 MW of round-the-clock renewable power.
