View Comments A 15-year-old who was standing next to a disabled car shortly after midnight has died after being struck by a pickup truck, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Zailyn Cade Jackson, from Enoree, was identified by the Spartanburg County Coroner's Office as the victim. The collision happened around 12:30 a.m. on Old Hills Bridge near Cross Anchor, about two miles east of Enoree, said Master Trooper Brandon Bolt of the state highway patrol, in a recorded statement. Bolt said four people were standing outside and next to a disabled 2005 Nissan Pathfinder in the roadway. A 2012 Dodge Ram collided with one of the people, Bolt said in the statement.
