EOHU posts record 67 new cases, active cases up by 25 : vima

Wednesday afternoon’s Eastern Ontario Health Unit COVID-19 update saw increases in new and active cases since Tuesday, and a large data shift in case numbers from one municipality to another.
Overall the EOHU disclosed 67 new COVID-19 cases in the region, for a running total of 3,909. That is a one-day record for new cases, just ahead of the 63 posted April 8 and the average of 66 a day posted at the turn of the calendar year.
