Electrical Trades Union The Electrical Trades Union has hit out at the sickening hypocrisy of the NSW Government, amid revelations more than 30 executives in the Transport department are paid above the top of the pay scale despite wage austerity for everyone else. The Sun Herald today revealed Transport for NSW is paying 34 executives above the maximum “internal remuneration range” this year, despite imposing a pay rise wage cap on the rest of the public sector workforce of less than 2.5 per cent. One executive is paid $388,000 for a role with a pay range of $233,730 to $311,599, while another earned $58,000 above the role’s salary package maximum of $354,000.
