EU Opens Data Investigations Against Amazon and Microsoft :

The European Data Protection Supervisor the EDPS opened two investigations regarding cloud services under Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Office 365, EU General Data Protection Regulation requires protection for personal data when outside the European Economic Area EEA.
