The European Union Delegation to South Sudan has appealed to all stakeholders involved in the permanent constitution making process to make it an inclusive and people-centred process, towards a Constitution that would guarantee the fundamental rights of all South Sudanese. “For a constitution to work, every citizen needs to feel and own it regardless of whether you are literate or illiterate, rich or poor, part of a big or small ethnic group,” European Union’s Chargé Alessandro Rossi said during the launching ceremony of a three-day workshop in Juba on the permanent constitution-making process for South Sudan on Tuesday.
