Super Smash Bros. Ultimate patch 10.1.0 felt fairly underwhelming for those expecting major adjustments to the game's balance. Aside from adding Sephiroth to the game's roster for those that never completed the Sephiroth Challenge while it was available, this patch mostly focused on making multi-hitting moves behave with more consistency.
However, there was a peculiar change with Olimar that probably doesn't make any sense to anyone that hasn't been playing Olimar for these last two years. "After throwing a Pikmin with a side smash attack or side special, if there are other Pikmin nearby when using up special, an air attack using a Pikmin will occur." The Beefy Smash Doods have recently uploaded a video that showcases exactly what this and other 10.1.0 changes mean during gameplay.
