Ex-NIA chief gets 8 years over botched dam project : vimarsa

Former National Irrigation Administration administrator Carlos Salazar has been sentenced to up to eight years in prison in connection with a dam project initiated in 2009 without prior approval from the National Economic and Development Authority.
