In a rendezvous with Vandana Vithlani, we asked her about her journey in TV and her love for negative roles, " The journey has been absolutely beautiful, with every character I feel the audience has only connected more. Whatever I have done in terms of characters, I have always enjoyed them." Vandana took us on tour with her characters, "Urmila in Saath Nibhana Saathiya was a completely negative person but ended up having a soft corner for her daughter, I played an out and out negative role in Sasural Simar Ka as Bhairavi, wherein in Muskaan it was a negative yet humorous character, there was a complete transformation in Humari Bahu Silk as Janki was a fun-loving, docile mother. Now, In Pandya Store, Kamini is a strong-headed woman, the is proud of her political connections and plays within the boundaries."
