The 25-room hotel is located inside the nearly century old, 13-story Morton building at the corner of Ionia Avenue NW and Monroe Center. It includes a range of room-styles, from studios to penthouses, each of which includes long-term stay accommodations such as kitchens, washers and dryers. It also boasts a play area and washing station for dogs. “We are thrilled to be bringing new life to the historic Morton Hotel for dogs and people alike,” Ross Bartlett, regional general manager overseeing the Morton Hotel, said in a statement. “We identified a need for a comfortable place to travel with dogs in Grand Rapids. By offering a space that can be enjoyed by humans and dogs, individuals can travel with ease knowing they can bring their best friends along for the trip.”
