Fairfield-area school district proposes slight decrease in budget
The MSAD 49 district budget for the 2021-22 year features a 0.76% decrease to the operating budget, which will be up for a vote by residents June 8.

FAIRFIELD The Maine School Administrative District 49 school board has sent the district’s 2021-22 budget proposal to local towns for approval.
The spending plan features a 0.76% decrease to the operating budget from the year before. 
When and where to vote on June 8
Albion: Besse Building, 22 Main St., noon-8 p.m.
Benton: Town Office, 1279 Clinton Ave., 1-6 p.m.
Clinton: 27 Baker St., 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
