The district released a statement Tuesday, saying that they are planning to go ahead and return some hybrid students back to in-person instruction soon, but they're requesting more guidance from state and local leaders to do more. Fairport school officials say they don't want to move too fast. "The question, why are we able to do high-risk sports? I think that's where the board of education has some advocacy points on metrics, not rushing to get in,” Superintendent Brett Provenzano said.
