Fargo Billiards & Gastropub to reopen at the end of February under new ownership

A Saturday, Jan. 30, Facebook post urged people to start booking events, including outdoor events in the Gastropub backyard for groups “up to several hundred,” as well as rehearsal dinners, company lunches, reunions and birthday celebrations. Registration will be starting soon for the sand volleyball league, which is expected to start in early May.
The business at 3234 43rd St. S. was closed in mid-November by then owners Mike and Adele Page.
Mike page said the business was a victim of the restrictions on the size of gatherings and worries tied to the coronavirus pandemic.
The last night was Nov. 14.
Page said that in normal winter months, such as December and January, leading up to and bookending the holiday season, 4,000 or more people would cycle through the doors weekly for business, retirement and family events. But due to worries about the pandemic, many firms were backing away from large gatherings. It has hamstrung the business model for the huge eating and entertainment emporium.
