Fatal Coalport Fire UPDATE: According to Clearfield County coroner Kim Shaffer-Snyder, a man was killed in Friday night’s house fire in Coalport. Shaffer-Snyder identified the man a 33-year-old Matthew Troxell, of Patton. State police are still investigating the cause of the blaze, which broke out around 9 p.m. Friday at a home along the 600 block of Main Street in Coalport Borough. No other injuries were reported.
