Read / Add Comments A Connecticut father and son were arrested for an interrupted burglary after the homeowner spotted the duo stealing items from his garage on a video surveillance camera. Christopher Barretta Sr., age 48, and his 18-year-old son Christopher Barretta Jr, both of the Town of Orange in New Haven County, were caught on the video on Wednesday, Jan. 6 in Fairfield County, said Shelton Police Det. Richard Bango. The case stems from a call the Shelton Police Department received from a Shelton homeowner who was not at home at the time but was watching his video surveillance cameras remotely. The homeowner informed the dispatcher that two men forcefully broke into his garage and then backed their truck in and closed the door, Bango said.
