Last night dominated by softball questions for joe biden. The hill media reporter joe concha on why critics say biden keeps getting a pass as President Trump gets hammered, raked over the coals. And Task Force Member on the growing pushback, were going to talk about the political infighting at the cdc, plus were going to talk to dr. Atlas about the new fight breaking out in nashville, tennessee, where the Mayors Office faces accusations that it covered up positive data on covid19 thats good for nashville when nashville was doing lockdowns of bars and restaurants. Also rnc Committee Woman for california Harmeet Dhillon on growing new questions over joe and Hunter Bidens conflicts of interest. Turns out there is a longer, deeper story here. Analyst and senator ron johnson have warned the headlines are about to get much worse for the bidens. Were digging into the documents. Also, congressman greg steube on preparing to enact sanctions against iran potentially by 8 p. M. Tomorrow night as more and more folks say yes, the obama democrats did get it wrong, downplaying the potential for peace in the middle east. And congressman mark green from House Homeland Security on the latest black eye for msnbc, trying to use a photo of Migrant Children in cages 2014 under the Obama Administration. Theyre trying to use it to attack President Trump. Congressman green will also break down this big Success Story the with u. S. Marshals and Homeland Security now finding and rescuing dozens of missing churn. Thanks for joining us. Im elizabeth macdonald. The evening edit starts right now. Elizabeth welcome to the show. Youre watching the fox business network. President trump and joe biden duking it out in minnesota today. It is beginning early voting. The Trump Campaign has its eyes on flipping the gopher state. Its a state he lost to Hillary Clinton by just under 45,000 votes. Lets bring in trump 2020 black voices for trump, she is the official there, shes stacy washington. Of stacy, its great to have you on the show. Your take as both trump and bind now targeting blue collar and middle class voters in the iron range, your reaction to the fight going on in minnesota right now. Well, i think President Trump is unique lu positioned after closing the gap that mitt romney had down to just 1. 5 . Hes actually got a huge chance, and hes been on the ground there numerous times before today. In contrast to that, liz, this is joe bidens first trip there, and i think in, i think, a thousand days, so hes got a lot of catching up to do. Meanwhile, a lot on the ground thats changed in the way of how people are thinking about who they want to vote for since 2016. Mainly the riots. So i think our game is strong. The public polling shows a 10 gap, 10point gap. But we actually have internal polling that looks much better for us, but the best polling or communication ive seen that proves that were winning in these battleground states is things that have been said by people like don lemon and nancy pelosi and, of course, joe biden himself. Theyre all now condemning the riots. After 90 days of sustained mayhem, they finally decided that the polling is not going in the right direction, and they want to Say Something about it. President trump has been strong on law and order from day one. Elizabeth you know, youre making important points. Lets take the first one. The media is growing increasingly concerned joe biden does not have a ground game in the battleground states. Much of bidens campaign is digital, on the internet in places like michigan. Chuck todd of msnbc warning about that, Michael Moore, the filmmaker, saying where is he . They dont see biden in the battleground states. Thats pretty surprising. Your reaction . Well, i mean, it is surprising, but when i see people who are hard core leftists like Michael Moore calling out democrats for what they see as deficiencies in the campaign, i immediately look to see what the president is doing in comparison. We have 17 of these black voices for Trump Community centers that are open across the country. Were door knocking every weekend, we have reached and touched well over a million voters the entire Trump Victory campaign, and im talking about door knocking. Thats face the face until contact. Were not afraid to shake peoples hands and ask them to vote for President Trump because hes actually trying to win their votes rather than feeling entitled to them. Elizabeth lets talk about the riots and violence which certainly took hold in minnesota and in minneapolis. A growing number of states nationwide seeing crime and violence. Were tracking more than 300 federal arrests right now, 637 riots. Lets look at the data, were going to show it. Were now tracking nearly 13,000 demonstrations in all 50 states. You know, were seeing things like in minneapolis, for example, the city council this is now demanding answers from the minneapolis cops asking or where are you, we dont see you out there on crime, but they tried to push defund cops. Theyre trying to do that and over a hundred officers have left. Thats double the usual count. Whats going on here, stacy . What do you think . Liz, this kind of burns me up a little bit, because i no e there are plenty of People Living in that city who are absolutely innocent of all of this, apolitical or certainly havent expected to experience the kind of mayhem theyve had to endure. Were talking about its been a process, a timeline, liz. Were talking about, first, the city council there defunds the police. Then the police pull back, theyve been defunded, a lot of them are retiring, theyre suffering through ptsd, and theyre in danger of losing not just their livelihoods, but their personal fortunes because theyre being treated like criminals for defending themselves. After that you have street racing, liz, you are arson you have arson, you have i assault, and you have more people shot there in this month, september, than all of 2020. So people there are asking where are the police, and now the is city counselors who are actually defunded the police are asking where they are, and theyre doing what theyve been told to do. Theyve been told to stand down, step back, let these people have room to destroy, and now that the fruit of that is coming out, people want to ask where they are . I think its just crazy. Theyre deflecting their responsibilities. They did this, the city council, and they should be voted out. Elizabeth you know, stacy, we had a video of a woman in minneapolis so scared, she has helicopters going over her house at night, shes hearing gunshots that shes never heard before in minneapolis, shes sleeping with her children in her bedroom. We had bernie kerik, former nypd commissioner, saying, yeah, thats what moms and dads do. Its scary for people out there. But, you know, you hear the line coming out of the rioters and protesters, this is reparation that the Small Businesses, many owned by minorities, they can afford it. Their insurance will cover it. Your take on that . Well, i happen to know, i have friends or who are Small Business owners, and and if you have insurance, often your commercial insurance doesnt cover acts of god or rioting. So rioting is not automatically covered by your insurance policy, so the assumption that they can just, you know, file a claim and get everything paid for also doesnt take into account, liz, that a business that isnt opened isnt earning an income, but you still have to pay your mortgage or your rent. These people are actually having their entire lives destroyed by rioters who claim to be doing this on behalf of george floyd or blacks being shot unjustly by the police. This isnt about that anymore. Im so sick of democrats taking Election Year politics to the extreme and using black people at the cudgel that they hit white voters over the head with and say you have to vote for democrats. We are not an election issue item that you can just use and abuse and toss away after the election. These riots and this violence, its not about black people, about black men being shot. It has zero to do with protecting anyone from any type of violence, and it has everything to do with trying to keep President Trump from being reelected. Elizabeth thats interesting, what youre saying. Taste i city, were also seeing on the other side of this story san antonio increasing the funding for cops despite demands from activists to cut spending on cops. And hundreds in chicago gathered for a back the blue rally in support of the police this week. Your take on that. So, liz, i know across the country, so my father was in Law Enforcement, two careers in Law Enforcement. One active duty in the army, and ive got to tell you, ive never seen the kind of animus toward the police as were experiencing right now in america, but ive also seen where me and my kids make it a point to go up to Police Officers when we see them in public and tell them that we are praying for them, ask them if they want to pray right there on the spot at the gas station. You know, when youre talking to them and saying, look, we support you. And a lot of americans feel that way. So the loudest voices are out front saying all horrible things about Police Officers, but there are so many millions of us who are praying for them and want them to continue to do this good work that theyve been called to do, because its a calling to be a police officer. And so there are bad apples, and President Trump has signed an executive order that provides for reforms at the federal level that any local jurisdiction can mimic and put into practice, but the issue that were having right now is that we need to have a candid conversation about what being an american really means and what supporting Law Enforcement really means as opposed to all of this discussion about a race and inconsequential issues that really dont have anything to do with what real Americans Care about. Elizabeth stacy washington, youre great. Will you come back soon . Its great to have you on. Anytime you want me. [laughter] thanks, liz. Elizabeth okay, sure. You have a good weekend, okay . Stacy washington there. Coming up, the president ial debates just a week away, cnn facing criticism for a town hall last night that was filled with softball questions going too soft on joe biden. Weve got the hill media reporter joe concha back with us on the show. Joe, its great to see you again. You know, the debates are just a week away. Cnn getting blasted for a town hall last night that lobbed lots of softball questions at joe biden. What was your reaction to that. Well, as a softball player, its an insult because theyre more like beach balls which are infinitely bigger, elizabeth, and easier to hit when thrown to you. Look, the numbers tell the story. There were 16 questions asked of joe biden last night, 13 were from democrats, just 3 from republicans. And before you say, well, thats just dumb luck, you know . Biden just called or Anderson Cooper just happened to call on random people in the crowd, no, the network decides beforehand who asks the question and what the questions are. And if cnn is truly an objective network, they would have done simple math which is why dont we have 8 republicans ask questions and 8 Democrats Ask questions. Thats the whole story, elizabeth, this was a fixed fight. Elizabeth yeah. You know, there was no pushback on, you know, bidens 4 trillion plan, 4 trillion in tax hikes. He said the president was responsible for all, for all covid19 deaths. Really . What about preexisting conditions . He says, you know, china is just a competitor when the fbi director, christopher wray, just testified the same day that china is stealing our covid19 Vaccine Research and testing technology. And theres no pushback on all of that and much more. Your take on that. Anderson cooper actually, and he was the moderator last night, actually moderated a president ial debate just four years ago, the second president ial debate, and here he is on this stage, and as you said, not once pushing back on joe biden as a good journalist does or fact checks in any way as a good journalist does. Joe biden also lied and said that President Trump had not mentioned during his state of the Union Address in early february anything about the coronavirus. Yeah, he did. Meanwhile, joe biden could have been asked a question like, hey, during those three primary debates in february that went on for two hours, you didnt mention coronavirus once or super tuesday in march, big night for joe biden, 12 minute acceptance speech, didnt mention coronavirus once. Yet joe biden is saying if the president did his job, there would have been no deaths from coronavirus which is a ridiculous statement because i guess that means the 175 other countries that have leaders are also responsible for every death that happened in their country. Yeah, this was a bad night for cnn, and it shows you why during these debates in 20 for the first time 2020 cnn will not have somebody moderating the debates. Theres a reason why, they simply dont have any objective journalists left there anymore, elizabeth. Elizabeth well, now theres a fear that biden may not be ready to take on trump at the debates. You know, heres the other thing, Anderson Cooper downplayed a biden flipflop saying, quote, it sounds like to some you were trying to have it both ways on fracking. Critics say it doesnt just sound, quote, like sounds to some. Watch him flipflopping on fracking. Watch. Would there be any place for fossil newels, including fuels, including coal and fracking in the Biden Administration . No. We would work it out. We would make sure its eliminated and no more subsidies for any one of those. Anybody who can go down 3003,000 feet in a mine sure as well can learn how to program as well. Give me a break. Anybody that can throw coal into a furnace can learn how to program for gods salk. Salk sake. Im talking about stopping fracking as soon as we possibly can so am i. Well, im not sure your proposal does that. No more, no new fracking. Elizabeth okay. Heres the question you would ask a candidate. Are you saying no to fracking early on because you want to raise money from the green energy groups, and then youre flipflopping because you know stopping fracking will slam voters jobs when you hit the campaign trail, thats why you flipflopped. Thats the question, right . Thats what tim russert, who i had tremendous respect for, would do. You read back the candidates own words. Those words you just played with Bernie Sanders was march 15th, no new fracking. July 9th he says also fracking is not going to be on the chopping block. Then september 1st he says, let me say that again, i am not banning fracking no matter how many times donald trump lies about me. Then just yesterday he says fracking has to continue because we need a transition. Oh, okay. No, you need votes in pennsylvania because if joe biden loses pennsylvania, probably a good chance because thats basically his home state that hes not going to win the election. This is all about flipflopping, saying one thing during the primaries to appeal to the far left and then something very different during the general because hes trying to pivot back to the center, and if we had a media that would actually call him out on these things, that would have been exepossed on national television. I would hope that Chris Wallace during those debates now only 12 days from now in cleveland, joe biden will not be able to get away with what he did last night during that cnn drivein town hall. Elizabeth joe concha, its great to have you on. Will you come back soon . Absolutely. Happy hour time, elizabeth. Its the weekend, bye bye. Elizabeth okay. [laughter] get that beach ball. White house coronavirus Task Force Member dr. Scott atlas on us on the growing pushback against the dems covid19 shutdown. Also the controversy at the c, the c, political infighting at the cdc. Lets welcome top rnc official for california, march met dillon to the show Harmeet Dhillon. We keep hearing the headlines are going to get worse for the binds. Senators johnson and grassley are battling to give america the facts about this. What do you think about whats going to happen . Were digging into the documents. Your take . Well, i think that we have seen these types of reports with conflicts of interest with joe biden dating back to the obama years, and, you know, you see a story about, for example, the mmbc, one of his biggest donors, getting preferential treatment at the same time as his son hunter biden is getting paid as a consultant from that company. And today in the news over the past year at the same time as his impeachment, as well as other distractions, weve seen all of this evidence regarding burisma, major payments that hunter biden has accrued from chinese plutocrats and from the ukraine, and yet these stories seem to kind of die with a thud. And the most recent news from john solomon shows that the number of transactions involving hunter biden and foreign parties, apparently, were flagged with by our finance watchdogs and given to the senate for review, and nothing happened. And so i certainly hope that the campaign and the media are going to keep the pressure on joe biden, because i think you can tell that after 47 years in office and this type of pay to play behavior surrounding him and his family throughout, you certainly cant expect anything different if hes the president of the United States. Elizabeth george kent, a state department official, testified during impeachment that he warned joe biden about what was going on with hunter, and he was rebuffed. In other words, the story is that hunter was tagging along for years while his father was Vice President to do deals in china, ukraine and russia, and this is when joe biden was the Obama Administration Foreign Policy point person. Ric grenell told us what he heard. Lets listen. I worked at the state department for 11 years, i know Many Foreign Service officers, i know many career individuals at the state department. They were horrified at what hunter biden was doing while his father was Vice President. He utilized the state Department International contacts, embassies, and people were just embarrassed and horrified at what he was doing. This has never been looked into. Hes never had scrutiny from the media, and it deserves this. Elizabeth you know, harmeet, you point out what happened in the early 2000s when hunter biden was a paid consultant for mbna when senator biden was fighting for lice r legislation to make it legislation to make it harder for consumers. What do you think . Well, absolutely. At that time when biden was a senator, mbna was his biggest contributor by far with over 200,000 over the various times that he has run for office. And at the same time, his son was either an employee or later a consultant getting paid significant fees. What is his sons expertise for any of these jobs, being on the board of burisma, being a partner with a Chinese Investment firm, being a consultant to a major bank . He literally has no experience that would be relevant to make anybody pay him big cash other than his ties to his father. There are similar scandals surrounding joe bidens brother as well. This type of pay to play can be very common in corrupt foreign nations. Its not acceptable in america. It actually violates many laws. But those recent revelations about the transactions that have been flagged over the past year or two that have been sent to the senate for review are even more serious. You know, we have these types of regulations elizabeth yeah, lets dig into that. But also terrorism. Ever since the patriot act, all of these types of transactions with foreign parties, not just the ones over 10,000 that you read about, but all kinds of transactions can be flagged and be us pix, and when they rise to that level that theyre serious enough to be a National Security question and the Senate Intelligence committees get that information, what do they do with it . By the way, i admit its been republican senators in charge for the past couple of years, what did they do with that information . Where did it go . Here we are less than two months away from this election. Its important that, regardless of the outcome of this election, this type of corruptappearing conduct be investigated fully and punished if appropriate. We dont see that happening. To the contrary, we see democrats saying, oh, if you investigate hunter biden, youre actually interfering with the election. Not so. Its important to get to the bottom of it, and if the Obama White House hadnt been so focused over the years and at the end there in the transition the time on nailing this president or this incoming president , they might have done their job as well, but they didnt. They were very focused somewhere else. The same thing happened with impeachment. People have not been doing their jobs on these issues for more than four years now, so its time to put that right. Elizabeth lets talk about what reporter john solomon is talking about, the Treasury Department agency, fincen, it polices financial threats like Money Laundering. It flagged several foreign transactions to hunter bidenconnected businesses as, quote, suspicious during the end of the Obama Administration. Latvia warned ukraine about money coming out of burisma into accounts connected to hunter biden. Burisma paying millions of dollars to the new York Investment account tied to hunter biden. So thats what john solomon is reporting. Your take so this looks like its the tip of the iceberg stuff. Your final wordsome word . Well, we know very little about this, thanks to John Solomons good reporting and his sources, that revealed the Senate Committee thats a had this information for about a year, and they are supposedly about to issue a report. You know, im fed up personally as these Senate Committees are about to issue reports when theyve had this information for a long time, its sensitive information. We dont know the details. We know it was serious enough that our government is questioning some of these transactions, and Money Laundering can take so many different forms. We know that chinas engaging in this type of behavior with a lot of corporate transactions in america, apparently other countries are as well. So id like to know the answers, and id like somebody to ask hunter biden those questions. I dont know those questions are being asked, as Richard Grenell said. Elizabeth Harmeet Dhillon, come back soon. Thank you. Elizabeth okay. Now coming up next, white house covid199 Task Force Member dr. Scott atlas on the fight in nashville. What happened in nashville with the administration of the Mayors Office there accused of suppressing positive covid19 cases, information about it, in order to do smutdowns when the shutdowns when the cases were actually low in bars and restaurants in nashville. Also the controversy with cdc staffers, the political infighting there. Were going to break all that town with dr. Atlas next. [ engines revving ] its amazing to see them in the wild like th shhh. Elizabeth lets welcome to the show dr. Scott atlas. Hes a member of the white house covid19 task force. Doctor, it is so great to have you on. Of thanks for joining us. Okay, so i want to break this down with you. Dr. Anthony fauci now says he would bet on a safe, effective Covid Vaccine for the end of 020. President trump says, you know, dr. Redfield was wrong to say its 2021, and then, you know, President Trump gets hammered for saying that. And then you have all these headlines about political infighting at the cdc. Can you tell us whats going on . Thats a big question to answer, but thanks for having me. I can talk about the vaccine elizabeth sure. [laughter] because ive spoken directly multiple times to the people at hhs and the doctor whos running the entire vaccine program. And this is what i know. What i know is that there is the president really has done a great job at facilitating the expeditious Development Without a lot of bureaucracy, but without cutting any corners of developing at least one safe and effective vaccine by the end of the year. I mean, thats amazing. The doctor told me today actually that the normal time would be four or five years, and President Trumps operation warp speed is going to do it in less than a year which is amazing, and its a testament to both cutting the bureaucracy, but understanding how to facilitate things in an efficient way. And, by the way, simultaneously manufacturing while its being developed. So we have more than 100 million doses will be manufactured by the end of the year. The process is ongoing in phase three trials. That means that the original phase one safety, phase two safety and efficacy, proof of concept and now phase three are being done. It depends on the data, depends on the number of positives and negatives and the statistical significance, etc. But this is being monitored not by President Trump, its not being monitored by federal agencies, the data itself is being monitored by an external expert group. These people have nothing to do with the administration, so theres zero chance of any manipulation or safety concerns whatsoever, and thats sort of unconscionable to imply that. Now, once theres a safe and efficacious vaccine that is determined by the data elizabeth yeah. It goes through the company, the Company Submits it to the fda. Theres the potential of getting an emergency use authorization, and then we know as we saw stated many times that there is going to be hundreds of millions of doses generated over the first few months of the year elizabeth okay, okay, got it. The first purity is the priority, and then at the end of the first quarter, we we see that we will have plenty of vaccines for everyone in the United States elizabeth okay, got it, all right. I mean, its that simple. These are the facts. Elizabeth i hear you, i hear you. You know, i got so excited that youre on, i really packed that question. And im so sorry about that. I think you more than answered it. We know that theres cdc political infighting, a lot of accusations that the cdc is topspring on behalf of the president. Your word on that, is that happening . No. I mean, you know, the cdc is an agency, its run by dr. Redfield, and theres a lot of people in the cdc, by the way. And so, you know, i think that theres just somehow a political interest by people who dont want to see success. Im here, like everybody else, because a pandemic going on, and were trying to help the country. Theres no urgency thats political. The urgency is the 200,000 people that have died. Cdc, you know, this is a government agency. Everything is sort of complicated because theres a lot of people involved, but, i mean, this idea that somehow there was data manipulation or something by the president is really ridiculous, and dr. Redfield himself, as i understand, testified that there was no evidence of anyone trying to influence the data. So i think this is just some mythical story that the media loves to sensationalize. Elizabeth you know, doctor, thanks for answering that. Your take on the mayor of nashville and his Health Department now accused of covering up positive data on the low number of covid19 cases at bars and restaurants in nashville that could be great for nashville at the time it was 22 cases connected to bars and restaurants, but then they were putting restrictions on those same bars and restaurants. Those restaurants and bars are suffering under crushing covid restrictions, and last night nashville business other than and Country Singer owner and Country Singer john rich warned a Class Action Lawsuit could be coming. Your reaction to this story . Well, i think it highlights something very important which is that a policy of stopping covid19 at all costs is not a rational policy. The policy, like the president himself has said from day one really, he said back in march, President Trump said the cure cannot be worse than the problem, quoteunquote. And that was a prescient remark because and this is one of the reasons are im here, is because i know health care policy. I understand the science. And the point here is that the president understood from day one we need to consider the implications of the policy. And when you have people locking down without concern for the lockdown itself, youre destroying families, youre hurting our children, youre literally creating a Massive Health problem by sculpting medical care skipping medical care. This is unconscionable. We need to make sure what were doing is rational policy based on the data. Its not good enough to say you follow the science, you have to follow the science, and part of that is to understand the implications of the lockdown. People need to get back to work in a safe way, schools need to be open in a safe way. I dont understand any kind of political agenda in stopping that. Thats really a heinous abuse of political power there in nashville as far as i can see. Elizabeth okay. Dr. Atlas, youre terrific. Will you come back soon . And you also wrote an oped e about why colleges should open back up. Its a great read, i read it. Its very interesting stuff. We ran out of time. You would love to have you come back and talk about more along those lines as well. Will you come back soon . Happy to do it. Thanks for the invitation. Elizabeth sure. Its good to see you. And do not misour interview miss our interview, an exclusive with country star john rich. Hes going to weigh in on the story next week on monday night about whats going on in nashville, tennessee, with covid19 shutdowns. Coming up, former congressman greg steube on a Trump Administration now preparing to enact snapback sanctions on iran as the president prepared to prepares to talk to the u. N. Elizabeth lets welcome florida congressman greg steube to the show. Congressman, your reaction to the Trump Administration about to enact snapback sanctions against iran possibly tomorrow night . Well, thank god for the Trump Administration. Again, the obama Biden Administration lied to the American People when we got into this horrendous Iran Nuclear Deal and handed iran 100 billion and said that the, that we would be able to prevent them from getting arms, and lo and behold, theres an expiration date, and now the u. N. s saying that we cant do that. So i applaud the president for instituting sanctions against countries that are going to go ahead and sell arms to iran, because i think the last thing that we want in the middle east is the iranians getting weapons from the russians or the chinese. Elizabeth yeah. That u. N. Embargo expires, as you point out, next month, in october. Your take on the obama democrats for years downplaying, undercutting the potential for peace in the middle east where President Trump has won historic peace deals with israel, the uae and bahrain, now five more mideast countries could potentially follow. We dont know yet. Watch this. There will be no separate peace between israel and the arab world. I want to make that very clear to all of you. Ive heard several prominent politicians in israel sometimes saying, well, the arab worlds in a different place now. We just have to reach out to them, and we could work some things with the arab world and well deal with the palestinians. No, no, no and no. Elizabeth okay. John kerry clearly is wrong there. The Washington Examiner points out democrats like tim kaine, john kerry, susan rice shouted catastrophe,s apocalypse, war in the middle east when the Trump Administration moved the u. S. Embassy to jerusalem, when he ordered the killing of qassem soleimani, and when he gets a peace deal, nancy pelosi says, oh, its just a distraction from covid is the. Your reaction to all of that . And President Trump got it done. John kerry said it couldnt happen, and President Trump got it done and is continuing to do9. What a difference in the obama Biden Administration versus what trump is able to get done. And the security and safe few it has not only given the American People, but the middle east and all these peace deals and the pass and prosperity hes going to give these arab nations and to israel. The fact that hes going to inor sure that no insure that no other individual countries are going to sell arms to iran is not just good for the United States, but its good for the American People. The last thing we want is the iranians getting weapons and sponsoring terrorism all across the middle east and the region. Elizabeth okay. Congressman steube, its great to have you on. Come back soon. Yeahing thanks for having me. Yeah, thanks for having me. Elizabeth up next, congressman mark green from House Homeland Security on the latest black eye on msnbc getting slammed for trying to use a photo of Migrant Children in cages. That photo is from 2014 under the Obama Administration. They tried to use it to i attack President Trump. Were also going to talk about security and u. S. Marshals finding and rescuing dozens of missing children. This is a stunning story. Sit for it next. We stopped the [inaudible] and we deported over 20,000 gang members and over half a million criminal illegal aliens of the you think of people in a place. Elizabeth lets welcome House Homeland Security member congressman mark green. Its great to have you on, congressman. The latest black eye for msnbc, Rachel Maddow getting heavy lu criticized for using photos of Migrant Children in cages, but the photos were from 2014 under the Obama Administration. She was trying to use them to attack President Trump. These photos are widely debunked as attacks on trump. Your reaction . Well, the really bad thing about Rachel Maddow and the liberal, you know, mainstream media, so to speak, continually using i mean, they continue to use them with a brand new member of the Homeland Security committee, a democrat, come on. And whats the first thing hed talk about . Trump putting kids in cages, and he cites those same images from 2014 under the Obama Administration. I mean, its just terrible. The left needs to get its facts right on this one, and they consistently use this same trope that trump did it. Its ridiculous, its dishonest, and im glad everybodys pushing back on maddow on that. Elizabeth well, the cages, i mean let me back up, theyre fencedin enclosures that were built under the Obama Administration. Former First Lady Michelle Obama criticized them but didnt mention they were built at the time of her husbands administration. A judge ended the policy, it was a really tough policy and, you know, he did, you know, enact an executive the order after an uproar. You know, heres the thing, the nuance here is that children were separated in instances where there was fear for the childs safety or the parent had a serious criminal history. Your word on that . Well, absolutely. I mean, you have to be very cautious. Ive been to the southern border many times in my role as a member of the Homeland Security committee, and ive seen those enclosures. Theyre not cages at all. Not even close to thatment what theyre doing to that. What theyre doing right now, i cant speak for under the Obama Administration, but since ive been to the border, their not cages. Theyre not cages. But they have to separate these people. 36 when i talked to cbc, and this was about eight months ago, 36 of the children who came across the border werent with any family members. These were people who were just, they were intentionally grabbing children as a ticket under the former policy to get through the border and get into America Elizabeth yeah, that easter tying. Terrifying. Its horrific, and yet the democrats elizabeth yeah, thats a disgrace. Yeah. That is a disgrace. I want to get to this story, a positive story. U. S. Marshal service with Homeland Security breaking up criminal gangs, arresting 262, finding 5 missing children, rescuing them in oklahoma city. They rescued 39 missing, endangered children. They found them in georgia. 25 missing children found in northeast ohio. You know, some of these kids were involved in Human Trafficking. What a victory for the u. S. Marshals service and Homeland Security. This is a widespread operation. These are the good guys doing good things, finding these children. Your reaction . Yeah. S this is excellent. And what a lot of people dont realize is that the Trump Administration has arrested 5,000 human traffickers coming across our southern border. Interestingly enough, the rating agencies for, you know, Human Trafficking and sex trafficking, the border of the United States and mexico and the philippines are rated as the worlds worst places for Human Trafficking. And the liberals want an open border . They dont they want to stop and did everything they could to stop the president s border wall . I mean, thats what were dealing with here. Its no wonder Rachel Maddows showing pictures from, you know, six years ago. Elizabeth all right. Congressman, you gave some great information there. Its really interesting to talk to you. Will you come back soon . We love having you on. Thanks, liz. Always great to be on your show. Elizabeth okay, same here. Im elizabeth macdonald. Youve been watching the evening edit on fox business.
