For the times, there has to be some stimulus,” Mayor Rod Frank said in reaction. “There are a lot of people who are hurting due to COVID. There are people on both sides of the coin whose health is at risk and others who have their livelihoods at risk, so the government had to address that. In the longer term, we’re going to have to look at the deficit and debt side, but that will be in a future budget.”
