HARTFORD — A city man who authorities said sold drugs while on federal supervised release will spend more than seven more years in federal prison after he was sentenced this week on his latest charges.
Jonathan “Fats” Torres, 30, was sentenced Thursday by Judge Alvin W. Thompson to serve 88 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. He appeared in court via video conference due to the pandemic.
Torres, also known as “U-Haul,” pleaded guilty on Nov. 10, 2020, to possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of, fentanyl and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
