Anxiety emerged as a top public health concern during the pandemic shutdown. A September 2020 poll by the American Psychiatric Association found that 62% of Americans felt more anxious than they did in October 2019. But, there are mindfulness techniques we all can use to manage these feelings.
Seems that when singer-songwriter Anna Nalick advised listeners to “just breathe” in her 2005 chart-topper, she was dispensing a valid piece of medical advice.
