Fidelity PM steps back from €1.7bn thematic fund : vi

The fund manager had overseen the strategy with Nick Peters. A spokesperson for Fidelity confirmed that Efstathopoulos remains with the firm and continues to be a key member of the multi-asset income team. The move allows him to focus more fully on income-generating strategies.
Matthew Quaife, head of multi-asset investment management Asia, has stepped in as a co-manager on the thematic opportunities fund.
As a result, he is moving away from the Fidelity Funds - Global Multi Asset Dynamic, which he managed together with Pek Ng and Ian Samson. The firm appointed Sarah Jane Cawthray to replace Quaife on the multi-asset strategy.
