(WECT) - Fifty trees will be planted along Racine Drive from Old Eastwood Road to Oriole Drive on Friday, Jan. 29, as part of the Wilmington Tree Initiative. Audi Cape Fear, in support of the Initiative, committed to planting one tree for each car sold since November 2020. City officials say the goal of the initiative is to plant 1,739 trees by fall 2021.
