Talebula Kate 22 July, 2021, 1:33 pm More than 100 public health infringement notices (PHINs) were issued by the Fiji Police Force over the last two days. According to Police, of the 102 notices issued, 71 people were booked for failing to wear a mask. Police say 58 cases were recorded during the first 24-hour period from Tuesday morning until yesterday morning. “Failure to wear a face covering (mask) recorded 51 cases. The Western Division recorded 22 cases, Central – 19, Southern and East – five cases each,” Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu said. “Four PHINs were issued for breach of curfew while three PSV drivers were issued for breaching the 50 per cent Ministry of Health Guidelines.
