To save time, 3D assets from the development of the cancelled Capcom vs. SNK 3 who imported into Capcom Fighting All-Stars. Inevitably, this idea would also be scrapped due to numerous issues. Uniquely, there were actually plans to incorporate finishing moves into Capcom Fighting All-Stars. These would've been similar to Mortal Kombat's "Fatality" system, though without the gore.
