Finland saw income differences widen notably from previous year in 2021

The Gini coefficient, a leading measure of relative income differences, rose by 1.4 percentage points year-on-year to 29.1 per cent in 2021, close to the all-time high of 29.5 per cent recorded in 2007, according to Statistics Finland.
