Five were killed on Thursday after a fire broke out in an under-construction building in Serum Institute of India in Pune. What happened on Thursday, here's a timeline of events.

All the deceased were contract workers, police said, and added that nine persons were evacuated from the spot.
Manjari facility is where the Covishield vaccine used in the nationwide inoculation drive against the pandemic is made. The building where a fire broke out is one km from the Covishield vaccine manufacturing unit, sources said.
