Five candidates file to run for Ballston Spa Village Board | The Daily Gazette SECTIONS BALLSTON SPA — Five candidates have filed petitions to run for Ballston Spa village trustee in the March 16 election, as the village holds its first non-partisan village election. With two seats on the Village Board up for election this year, the candidates who submitted petitions are incumbent board member Shawn Raymond; Ben Baskin, community activist; Bob Bush Jr., a village volunteer firefighter; Sean Mulvaney, owner of Moe’s Mowing and a building maintenance employee for the town of Milton; and Mary Bush, the wife of Police Chief Dave Bush and unrelated to Bob Bush. All filed petitions ahead of Tuesday’s deadline.
