Flames And Lady Flames Named All-Academic Track & Field Athletes Monday, July 26, 2021 The All-Academic Teams and All-Academic Athletes for the 2021 NCAA Division II Track & Field seasons were announced last week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Both the Lady Flames and Flames were All-Academic Teams and combined to account for eight All-Academic Athletes. The Lady Flames recorded a cumulative GPA of 3.48, while the Flames garnered a cumulative GPA of 3.24 to become eligible for the All-Academic Teams designation. For a team to be named an NCAA Division II All-Academic Team, the cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the institution’s NCAA squad list for indoor and/or outdoor track & field must be 3.0 or higher.
