(WMBF) – Teachers with Florence School District One will roll up their sleeves to get their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine this week. According to information from the district, the educators will receive their shots on Friday, March 5, during the mass vaccine clinic at Darlington Raceway. Phase 1B vaccinations, of which educators are eligible, will officially open on March 8, but McLeod Health has set aside slots specifically for FSD1 teachers at the clinic, a press release stated. Appointments are required for the event.
