(WMBF) – Citing a record number of COVID-19 cases in Florence County, officials announced that Florence School District One students will continue with fully virtual learning for an additional week. According to information from the district, this includes the week of Jan. 18 through Jan. 22, with schools closed on the 18th in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr., holiday. All schools will return to the three previous forms of instructional delivery on Monday, Jan. 25, district officials said.
