Warren now faces three charges of indecency, to which he has entered no plea. It is alleged he was spotted walking around the island while naked on three occasions between January and June 2020. The start of Warren’s hearing, held at the magistrates’ court at Pitcairn community hall, was delayed when he failed to appear. Prosecutor Kieran Raftery, and court registry staff, joined the hall via audiovisual link from Auckland, with Warren's lawyer Tony Ellis joining via his laptop from home. A short time after the hearing started, Warren arrived and told the magistrate he had seen the public notice about the hearing but hadn't realised it referred to his case.
