That’s because four seconds is the difference between the Strabane woman achieving her dream of running the marathon at the Olympics in Tokyo this summer for Ireland and the crushing reality that she won’t. Advertisement On Sunday, the supremely talented distance runner competed in the Chester Marathon where she knew what she needed to do. She had to run 26.2 miles in two hours, 29 minutes and 30 seconds or less to fulfill her lifelong dream of qualifying for the Olympics.
