The contenders ripping each other up while trying to sell themselves as the best chance to defeat President Biden but The Big Question is did anyone break through . The candidates seem to care more about delivering their one liners and talking over each other than trying to win over actual voteers youre ducking these things. Let me tell you whats going to happen. We are not going to call you donald trump any more. We are going to call you only do duck. Joe biden doesnt belong on a picket line. He belongs on the unemployment line. You hung him on your curtains. They were there before i showed up at the residence. Thank you for speaking while interrupting. For me when i watch nikki haley i saw a woman who took no prisoners wasnt afraid of the men squared off with her Body Language to the men and said know your facts bring it, tim, talking to senator tim scott and then with the one line the more i listen to you i feel dumber for having listened to you but i think nikki haley added some points of late from her Point Of View on top of what she did from the first debate. Now, i thought desantis continued with the same kind of i a great job in florida and i can do it again. I dont know there was anything new there. I think the vent with the finger in the air started to get aggravating and bergham was a nuisance. He kept jumping in and i thought you handled him very well the Chris Christie the only reason he is there is to be talk down donald trump or donald duck as he called him. But, dana you had a front row seat. You got to see them up close and personal. From your Vantage Point who do you think won the night . I think your analysis is just adding to the consensus that there wasnt one breakout star from the night. I do think all of them felt a need to speak, sometimes to speak all at once and sometimes to say all the things they wanted to say in one answer which was difficult and not too helpful. We wanted to start with the economy and i believe from vivek answered the border and fentanyl and crime and i said we are going to get to all those things. You dont have to answer them all in the first question. I think because they were under time pressure theres frustration when theres multiple candidates. Theres multiple candidates that want to answer the same questions. If did you that you would ask them four questions and really wouldnt get anywhere so there were good moments. I would we exam the structure of the debates, less questions against a ton of candidates, consider podcasting where you go deep with the candidates whether vivek or rfk, jr. Maybe you have four 30 minute debates two candidates each. That way you can go deep. Theres no insulting because people relate to each other. This debate felt like 2015. Its 2023. Maybe its time to reexam this. All right, jesse your take. Well i thought you looked very good on camera dana and i know thats the most important thing. I would say that hair makeup and wardrobe won the debate. Youre eyes i dont think i need to say anything else. I know you dont have children but you had 7 last night and The Cross Talk was so tedious dana these candidates have to learn how to throw a punch and wait and react. They cant keep talking all over each other. Like music. You cant just play the same note on the guitar. It felt like they were trying to speed through all their memorized Talking Point until the bell rings. Its like a chorus. You got your hook. You got the drum solo. Maybe you have a horn section and you kind of weave in it like this beautifully and vary your notes. Everybody is talking at the same speed same time and you couldnt understand a thing. Theres also no story. When donald trump was running for president he had a story about america. About where america where was and where he whats going to take this country. Remember that the chinese were hollowing out the industrial base. He was going to bring these jobs back through trade deals smash isis d. C. One he didnt get into the fray early on. I know i would have liked to have got at ron desantis more quickly in the debate but because everybody was talking over each other not following rules it got pushed back but to his credit leap didnt jump in and you look at the Washington Post poll he won the debate according to people they polled so there was that. I think he realizes if donald trump is going to be spend all his money against him he might as well try to take him on. Christie we know in his position i think he answered good questions about especially crime for example and on the border he had a good answer on that but Vivek Ramaswamy was happy to bring up President Trump in a complimentary way.
