These units are working to clear a path for the Ground Forces that are staging near the gaza border horrific scenes in israel. Those slaughtered in the communities here along the border and also those taken hostage into the gaza strip. One mother describes what happened to her son and it really gives you a sense of just what the israelis dealt with and why they have escalated this to the level that we are seeing today. Ground troops along the border preparing to enter gaza if they need to. It is a developing and fluid situation. Back to you guys. Brian trey, is there a sense since you were around those the build up of troops along the border before they asked to you drive away, plan of action within the dense Gaza Urban Fighting that is straight ahead . If hamas plans to deeply for this attack and want to draw the israelis in, is there a sense it will israeli troops they dont know what is waiting for them . That it might be even more challenging than they might imagine . Yeah. Absolutely. Its why you are seeing such strategic patience by the israelis. They are staging of the tanks and apcs and soldiers along the border. They have not yet entered gaza. The israelis say they have hit nearly 3,000 targets along the gaza strip since saturday morning when this massacre took place. And they know what they are going to face. It will be very difficult urban battle. Hamas and Islamic Jihad fighters will juice Guerrilla Tactics to kill as many Israeli Soldiers as possible and try capture them, even. They have to be strategic about going. In not just with the timing but also in the location. And as we have heard a lot of these hostages, we presume, are in gaza city that were looking at right now in tunnels under those bombed out buildings. Do we know anything about how Hostage Negotiations are going on right now . Yeah. We do. We spoke with a source about two days ago who indicated the qatarys are acting as a middleman between the israelis and hamas as it relates to those hostages. Given the fact that this has expanded and we have more information since then, it would not be surprising if other parties are involved, including the egyptians, traditionally qatar and egypt have acted as that middleman between the two sides. In the past, not just on things like hostages but for things like aid and money that would flow into gaza. We have no developments on whether or not those conversations have escalated or if they have any new positive developments. But, what we do know is it will be incredibly difficult based on the statements from hamas and also what we know about the gaza strip to retrieve these hostages. You could have the best commando teams. You could have the best intelligence. It doesnt matter. The gaza strip is 25 miles long. Anywhere from 3 to 7 miles wide. There is a deep network of tunnels that the palestinians have had time to dig underneath. Lawrence you know, trey, im curious and you kind of alluded to this as it relates to the aid from other countries. I k egypt was trying to bring ad to the Palestinian Authority. It looks like there is already starting to be some pushback against israel. Im just wondering do they feel and this was almost predictable as well, trey. But has the pushback worked in the eyes of the idf as well as the Prime Minister . Look, the death toll is rising in gaza. Its around a thousand people from what we understand from the Palestinian Health ministry. Both jordan and egypt say they want to deliver aid to the Palestinian People. There are around 2 million palestinians inside gaza. And the majority of them are not they have no food and no water and no electricity. And so part of the issue right now is whether or not any sort of aid will be allowed into gaza. The israelis say no. They say this is a siege. And they are unwilling to allow aid into the strip. They also say that if the egyptians try to deliver aid on their own, they will bomb the convoy. This is a siege on gaza. And it is going to have some controversy along with it. There are a lot of people who are to be so antiand hateful toward another organization and not to condemn what happened to innocent individuals.
