Neil protests in New York City and Around The World Today as israel prepares for a massive Ground Invasion in to the gaza strip. Were on top of all of these faster moving developments. Well talk to senator marco rubio and why he says israel has no choice but to wipe out hamas. Welcome. Im neil cavuto. To mike tobin in israel. Were learning about raids on a hamas targets in the last 24 hours with more to come. Mike . Certainly will be. A lot of tension at the northern border, a deputy to hezbollah leader says they wont listen to out Seed Pressure to not start another fight in northern border. Meantime, u. S. Defense secretary lloyd austin is in the area. He had a warning for hezbollah. Any country, any group, anyone thinking about trying to take advantage of this atrocity, to try to widen the conflict or bestow more blood, we have just one word. Dont. Israel had a warning for the civilians in the city of gaza that the time to get out for your own safety is now. Clear indicator that the massive Ground Operation in indeed imm imminent. They communicated that to the people by dropping leaflets. I resulted in this sad exodus. A lot of people made the trip on foot. They climbed in trucks, did what they could. Its not clear that everyone got out of gaza city. Hamas had discouraged people from leaving. Also, you mentioned at the top here, neil, that Israeli Ground forces were indeed on the ground in the gaza strip. That did happen, but it was not the start of a major ground offensive. What were told from idf sources is that had to do with the people that have been missing since the tear or attack last saturday. Neil, back to you. Mike, even the u. N. Has weighed in to this. They want israel to rescind thisgaza evacuation that its too risky and too many people could get killed. How is israel balancing all of this . I dont think they are. Netanyahued spoke to the nation today. The enemies of israel have only gotten a taste of what is to come for their actions. Israel has not forgotten what has happened and what youve seen is only the beginning. Neil thanks, mike. We want to go to don mann, retired navy seal. This ground campaign, when it starts, in order to guarantee safe passage, how do you distinguish between palestinians in the region who might need that and hamas who might be taking advantage of that . In other words, the bad guys are getting out with the good guys. Yes, neil, that one of the biggest issues. Well have 300,000 reservists and people tried to follow each other. You cant tell an enemy by looking at them. The people are trained to look at the threat. Trained so see if they so anything in their hands that can cause harm or death. Thats the threat. For the most part, they wont know who is the bad guy or the friendly. Thats a real problem in this. Neil i wondered what you make of hamas that claimed that 13 hostages have been killed in various israeli air strikes. Theres no way of knowing that for sure. How do we know theyre not killing hostages as we speak themselves . Neil, ive been worried about that. I think that if they they could be killing hostages, filming it and release the films little by little. These guys going in there, they have hostages to worry about. Close quarters battle is tough. A tight team like a seal team or ranger team or marine corps unit, fbi hostage rescue team, theyre good at it. Were all good doing that. But when you go to take on a city, its much, much more complex. Especially when you have hostages and the screaming and yelling of missiles and gun fire. Now theyll be in tunnels where the hostages may be . It can be a nightmare that we have never witnessed before is what im thinking. Neil its interesting, a retired navy seal, what you make of what hezbollah is getting into. Supposedly not involved in this crisis but directing a number of strikes that israelis have had to deal with. Separately were learning the syria attacks are picking up steam to the point where we had to attack syrias two airports to deal with that. Its a multifront war, whether that is being acknowledged or not. So far israel handling it well. Im wondering where you see it going and whether iran starts getting involved, whether you start seeing other nefarious players getting involved in ways that are much more blatant and not as clandestined. Yes. Theres three enemies at one time. Theyre prepared to do the same. So if they have hamas, hezbollah up north and whoever else steps in the only strategy that makes sense to me, they take this terrible assault on to israel were the babies and the women and the mothers all being slaughtered in hopes that they get a lot of awareness through the other palestinian terror groups and that those groups will jump in to side with them against israel. Israel will return with a lot of the same devastation. Not the same, but theres going to be a lot of blood shed. They are use that. The palestinians and the hamas and hezbollah will use that for propaganda to get more and more people on the side of them. Thats the only strategy that they have. Because if iran steps in, were in big trouble if iran steps in. Thats the only purpose that they have, trying to get iran and the other actors more overtly in the game here. Thank you. You see the protests of tens of thousands. Its a large mass of people. That kind of stuff is going on all Around The World Today. Protests, some of course on behalf of israel, others for palestinians and hamas. Many of them didnt make a distinction there. Lets get the latest on that right now whats happening in new york. Nate foy. Nate . Hi, neil. So this protest right now is in full swing. Ill ask my photographer to walk with me. The better part of this block is full of pro palestinian protesters. Many standing here on the bed of this truck yelling, leading chants. You can see a lot of People Holding signs across the way here of times square. Theres a bus that is a little in our way. You can see counter pro israel protesters. Ive spoken with a lot of the pro palestinian. One man said that hes not in support of hamas where a woman that i spoke to on air last hour was very much in denial of the Hamas Terror Attack last saturday. Theres 15 palestinian Led Organizations that are hosting this rally today, neil. Take a look at this graphic. One of those organizations is called within our lifetime. Openly on their website, heres what they stand for. Theyre against a twostate solution. They advocate eliminating israel by any means necessary. Thats a direct quote. As is resist the violence of the u. S. Empire. That group, neil, within our lifetime has instructed its members to not speak to police today. They have a sole appointed person within the organization that is supposed to talk to police. They have instructed their members not to post anything that would incriminate any of their members rather than instructing their members not to do anything incriminating. Right now the nypd appears to have everything under control. Back to you, neil. Neil all right. Thanks, nate. You might have heard about the students at harvard that had spoken out in favor of hamas and saying that israel is the perpetrator here. A number of ceos prominent ones heard that and wanted to know the identity of these students that heard that because they wouldnt hire them if their names came up, including stephen ready. He says no to hiring these students that blamed israel for this attack. Good to have you. You went out of your way to say wait a minute. They went too far. What kind of reaction have you gotten for this stance . I mean, i think the intention of bills original tweet and my response and a lot of peoples response was one first of just, you know, sadness and anger. Then led to really feeling like you have we have to speak out. Ceos, businesses, we have to speak out about terrorism. Where that tweet has gone, im not really happy with the direction people have taken it. Unfortunately thats how social media works. That tweet has been repackaged as a witch hunt of sorts to go and track down these people that signed these documents. I dont think we intend to do that or anybody that commented on the tweet intended that. The place where i came from is where especially building a business where im trying to do good in the world, the last thing i would want to do is sponsor any type of hate and violence. Any ceo would say the same. And when i asked and suggested it was a good idea to get those names, i think it came from a place of, you know, building a business, trusting the people youre building with and knowing, are they against terrorism and killing and murder. If they are, id like to know that its not exactly the first thing that comes up in an interview. That being said, it spiralled in to something that could cause more violence and harm to people that are just, you know, whether they have an opinion or uninformed were all trying to get more informed every day and trying to learn, this is a complicated issue. Where i come from is id like to figure out how to communicate and engage those folks and change their mind. Not put their pictures on buses and track them down and harm them. Neil have you found out the identity of those that who made this claim . I think the documents have circulated. I personally have not seen them. Other students have questioned whether they should have played that statement in the first place and want their names retracted. As far as im concerned, i changed my direction of figuring out who these people and now im here to say lets get more ceos and leaders with big voices and big influence speaking out against hamas, speaking out against terrorism and speaking out against all of these just unbelievable crimes that have been committed that are just saddening and depressing. As a father who grew up in mixed religion, in a culturally melting pot, im saddened to see that i have to keep my kids home from school to avoid violence on them as jewish people. So thats where i am today. Im saying every ceo should speak out. We need to speak out about antisemitism. Neil im sorry, stephen. Very few ceos have spoken out on this. On either side, for that matter. Im wondering whether that disturbed you . It does. We have a responsibility to speak out. We have a responsibility to stop what is happening as best we can. By the way, we have very few solutions right now as your network is showing here. We have very few solutions other than our voices. I think to the extent that we can use them to get the message out for the victims in israel, for jewish people that are being persecuted around the country. You know, nothing that supports more violence. Thats the problem with all of this. Nothing i want to do, nothing that anyone i would support would be to create more violence or more hate. Thats a difficult things to achieve. Im an inspired guy that believes the future can be brighter. Thats why im so bothers by whats happening on these campuses. Its depressing to think that the Future Leaders Of The World can take this position after the violence that took place at the hands of an absolute 100 terrorist group. Theres no ifs, ands or buts about it. If you cant call that terrorism, if you cant speak out against that, i have a problem with that. Thats where the essence of the tweet. I definitely dont want you in my company where year trying to help bring good in to the world and help bring business and philanthropy together to make sustainable change. Something like this happens, you realize you have a big problem a big mountain to climb. Thats the reason why i respond to the tweet. Neil real quickly on that very important, stephen, theres a lot of those kids that were out there in support of hamas. Not only the Harvard Students saying none of this happened. The whole incident of the babies beheaded and it didnt occur. They have serious doubts about it. Denying it in ways that we saw after the holocaust, with some who are just convinced, many to this day, never happened. What do you think . Yeah. Well, you know, having grown up jewish, having been a minority in my community, i have never encountered people that denied the holocaust. I didnt think that there were that did. Ive been proven ignorant on that. Because the fact that this can be denied makes it very clear that the number of people willing to deny the holocaust and willing to deny all of these terrorist acts is many more than i believed to have existed as an optimist. Neil all right. Thank you, mr. Ready. Good seeing you. A quick statement. I didnt want to reply the whole bite from harvard. The university embraces the commitment to free expression. That commitment extends to events and views many of us find objectionable. The protests go on. Meantime, theres a speaker race going on. You might not recognize it because its like whackamole with candidates that are up there and then out of there. Chad pergram Keeping Track of that. Chad . Well, jim jordan, he has just won behind closed doors. He defeated austin scott, who is a republican representative from georgia who got in to the race today and said he did not intend to run for speaker today. But decided to put his name in to the hat. Were getting conflicting information as to what the vote total was. It does appear that jim jordan did do a little bit better than Steve Scalise the other day. But theres a substantial block against jim jordan who voted for austin scott, something that got in to the vote tally today. Theres several dozen from what im told, members that voted for austin scott. What we dont know is whether or not they would go to the floor. The numbers are far below, in fact well below the number that jim jordan would need to win. The magic number with 433 members voting, thats the total number of the House Of Representatives right now, would be 217. And jim jordan right now appears to be way below that. I would expect if they were to take this to the floor, some of those people might go to jim jordan. This was a protest vote. Some have said that they would be willing to support whoever came out of the conference as the republican nominee. But we dont know the timing. Would jim jordan risk going to the house floor and losing later today . Thats what they did for 15 round spread over five days. It demonstrates the chaos that the republicans have here. Number 2, what it does, it tells you that jim jordan doesnt have the votes to be speaker of the house. That was the knock against him and always the knock against Steve Scalise, which is why Steve Scalise with drew last night. Were hearing mixed things. Could they vote overnight, vote over the weekend. Could jim jordan grow the vote. They dont have all members here. Maybe come back monday. There was a bit of an interesting message that came out of the offices of the democratic whip. Katherine clark. I need all democratic members to get back to washington d. C. If youre not, tell us if absences will be out there. We want a unified block. What theyre doing there is saying if republicans are going to elect a speaker, we want to make sure we have everybody there. I think maybe theres some gamesmanship being played by both sides. We heard from the republican said that they had 209 of their members here. Maybe the democrats are saying well get everybody there and maybe we can outpace you on the floor if this comes to a vote. Im getting some information coming in right now. Lets see if we have an updated vote total here. Nothing just yet. The key here is that jim jordan is the second nominee for speaker that republicans have had in the past couple days. Steve scalise was the nominee until last night. This is where a number of republicans have said to me today, one said it was a blank show in here, this is a testy situation. You still have people talking about supporting kevin mccarthy, the former house speaker. You have others that have said maybe we should go after patrick henry. Others say that might have different direction if its clear that jim jordan cannot get the votes. We heard the name mike johnson, the republican from louisiana. His name battered about. Because if they go to the floor and lose or jim jordan decides much like Steve Scalise his support is too soft, then youre right back where you were at the beginning of the week. They continue in this stasis without a house speaker, which is very dangerous as they try to address the situation in the middle east. Michael mccaul, he was at the white house today. Hes the chair of the Foreign Affairs committee talking about a Military Aid Package for israel to reboost them. They cannot vote. I can not begin to underscore that. Thats why were seeing a level of chaos here and mayhem and bedlam that weve never seen in the halls of the House Of Representatives without being able to elect a speaker. Its one thing to struggle at the beginning of the congress to elect a speaker. We saw that obviously in january. We saw that in the 19th century. In the middle of the congress that is a tv show that has not been in my tv guide before. Neil yeah, especially when this is the backdrop. Just the way this makes them look. Real quickly on that. Do you see any democrats who would just say, all right, you guys are screwing it up. Were going to do the bigger thing. Two of our members will vote for whoever the republicans put out there to get this drama behind us, to get aid to israel, to get aid to maybe ukraine down the road, to get the government functioning again. They could end up looking like heros doing that. Im wondering have you heard anything like that . It would depend on who the candidate might be. I mean, again, austin scott is new to the race. Does he continue . Is there somebody else that they can bring across. Do they get a coalition person, someone that we have not thought of that some democrats and some republicans could vote for and get above the magic number 2017. Its all about the math, neil. Neil got it. Thanks, chad. Congressman steve womack joins us right now, the republican from arkansas. Congr congressman, where are you on this . Well im getting some chatter in my earpiece. Neil, are we still there with you . Neil yes, we are, congressman. If you can still hear me. I wanted to know where you stand on this. Well, i just left the long worth Ways And Means room where we took the secret ballot vote. Let me help you with the vote count. My understanding is jim jordan came out with 124 votes. Thats just 25 votes more than what he had when he went head to head with Steve Scalise. A stronger candidate. Steve is the the Majority Leader of the house. Austin scott hat 81. Even my arkansas math shows that is 205 people that voted. We have 221 in our majority. So the answer to the question about what we do now i understand theres a second vote taking place that will determine whether or not the members of the caucus, the conference, the republican conference, will stand for jim jordan if it goes to the floor. So that vote is taking place right now. Im missing that particular vote to do this interview. So depending how that vote shakes out will inform the leadership as to whether or not we open the floor and have the speakers vote. Personally i think that is risky. In fact, i think its very doubtful that we would do that. Hes got 124 votes. He needs 217 if everybody is here. You can bet your Bottom Dollar that the democrats are going to have their members in attendance. So this is a fluid situation. I think yesterday you compared it to the keystone cops. That might be offensive to keystone cop lovers out there. Its chaotic where we are right now. When we get the ballot back on whether or not the members will stand with jordan or the floor when the vote goes to the floor i think will determine if any action is scheduled later tonight. Neil you know, i mentioned the Keystone Thing to make the point that probably against your wishes here, that is how it appears, the backdrop of whats going on in israel and without a speaker, nothing can get done in the house. It looks bad for all republicans. Even those not keen on keeping this going on and on like a soap opera. Are you worried this is doing lasting damage . Is there someone in that mix of people if its not jordan or scalise, its not scott that ends up being a candidate that comes out of nowhere against all of these other more recognizable names and emerges . Is there anyone like that . If the question is can somebody emerge in the republican conference that can go get 217, the answer is no. That is not a practical outcome unless and until the situation in the world becomes so dire that we have to do something, forced to do something. The sense of urgency kind of takes over. Were not there yet. There are a lot of very stubborn people with mixed agendas. Neil were at that point, right, congressman . Well, you know, i think we are, but still, thats not thats not helping members get past their separate differences on where we are as a conference. Neil understand. So 124 votes is not near enough to say were going to go down to that room and vote for the next speaker. Neil any plans for any voting, any activity on this tomorrow, congressman . Look, it depends on attendance. 205 members just voted. We have 221 in our conference. We need all that 221 here. I made that point today in conference. I stepped to the microphone. We may have an attendance problem. We have to be careful before we make a decision about going to the floor or going beyond the moment today to try to choose a speaker. So we may indeed be to the first of the week before we can settle this particular issue on jim jordan and whether or not it passes and he is seated or whether or not we have to go back to ground zero. Neil got it, congressman. Thanks for taking the time. Steve womack of arkansas. Well be monitoring how this plays out, if it does play out tomorrow. Were looking at this and what is going on in israel saturday. Our peter doocy had a chance to catch up with the president on this very issue on whats going on with israel. Peter . Neil, good afternoon from philadelphia. President biden just wrapped up his remarks about bidenomics. We did have a chance to ask him for the first time anywhere about these reports that a Ground Invasion by israel in to gaza is imminent. President biden, what worried your about a potential Ground Invasion in gaza . One word answer speaking to the gravity of the situation. He did address the zoom call that he hadded with the dozen plus families of those that are being held captive in gaza right now. The american families. And he talked in his remarks about how the vast majority of palestinians had nothing to do with the hamas attacks. Have nothing to do with hamas, period. That jives with reporting that were getting that President Biden has urged the israelis privately or the Biden Administration has urged the israelis privately to wait to go in on the ground until innocent civilians have had a chance to evacuate, if that is even possible. Right there, that is eight seconds of history, the first that President Biden has talked about this. Neil . Neil in other words, hes going to make you make this decision. This is your war. Were supporting you. If he had his druthers, safe passage for those. Another wrinkle to that. A concern for safe passage for whom . Some hamas people that could slip through. Thats another story, right . It is. Theres other countries that dont want to take these refugees. So it does seem like theyre up against a clock. Theres not very many good options. Privately President Biden, sounds like he wants the israelis to be as careful as possible. The public line is the United States will be right there with israel with whatever they want to do. They have the full support of the u. S. Government. Neil thanks, peter. That is a Big News Development in itself. On this issue of a Ground Invasion, as i told you earlier, the United Nations has already said it would be better if israel rescinded a gaza evacuation that it would cause a calamitous situation. Theyre entirely against such an undertaking. Seems that israel wants to make sure it can do it and it will decide exactly when and how. Type 2 diabetes . Discover the ozempic® trizone. Dr. Scholls has the breakthrough youve been waiting for. The first fdacleared athome skin tag remover clinically proven to remove skin tags safely in as little as one treatment. Neil all right. Theyve been calling them localized raids. Lets get the latest from greg palkot with what the military is trying to iron out here. Greg . Pretty significant, neil. Its been a busy night. Behind us, the last couple hours, hamas militants have been raining down rockets. Luckily weve had israels iron dome defense which knocked all of them down. In the last 24 hours, weve seen the strongest israeli air strikes against hamas militant targets inside gaza. 750 bombs have been dropped in 24 hours. You can imagine what it like on the ground there. Yes, the most significant story of the day, the report from the Israeli Defense forces that theyve had small Commando Units going to northern gaza. They have been clashing with hamas militants and looking for clues for hints for evidence of where those 150 hostages are inside gaza. So in a small way, not a big way, but a small way, some last movement by the Israeli Defense forces has started inside gaza. This comes after the very strong warning from the Israeli Defense forces and the Ministry Of Defense to gaza to leave, that is 1. 1 million citizens. Hamas said no way. Some people did try to go fearing the worst. Things are hotting up all over the area. West bank, 14 palestinians were killed with clashing with israeli security. Deaths on the northern border. Thats lebanon and northern israel, hezbollah. The focus down here is on a Potential Land Incursion in the coming days. Looks like its building up. Take a look at what we heard and saw today. Youre looking at the Israeli Military getting in place for action. Were two miles away from the gaza strip. Big trucks are bringing in tanks, armored personnel carriers, other trucks as the Artillery Blasts in the distance. The Artillery Fire doing more damage to gaza ahead of a Land Incursion to knock out hamas. Hundreds of pieces of lethal equipment brought in, positioned, ready for the call. Along the soldiers manning the dangerous gear and if needed facing off with the militants. You think its going to be strong . Very strong. Should it be strong . It should be very strong. What do you think of the hamas militants . Good or bad . Bad. Very bad. Neil, might have been a local spotty but his determination straight ford ward. Secretary of defense austin pledged the support of the United States and those death tolls just to remind our viewers, its 1,300 dead inside israel. Americans and others. 1,800 believed to be killed. Palestinian civilians caught in the crossfire. The fear is if this gets more serious on the ground as it looks like it could be, the casualties could soar. Back to you. Neil thanks, greg. Benjamin netanyahu says the goal here is to punish hamas to the point that it can no longer exist. Lets get the read on that with Lieutenant Colonel jonathan, Israeli Defense forces. Good having you. How are you and your men and Women Holding up . Thank you. The people of israel are strong and so are the Security Forces committed focused and getting ready to get the job done with hamas. Its going to be a long situation. At the end, as you said, hamas will not be able to threaten israeli civilians ever again. Neil colonel, if hamas after having control of the region growing back to 20005 or so ends, you have to plan for what is next after hamas. Separating those that are affiliated with hamas with the very people youre trying to evacuate as we speak right now. How do you juggle that . Yeah, i wouldnt want to go into what is a few months in the future. I would like to focus on what were doing now. What were trying to do now is to do the right thing. The right thing being continuing to getting hamas out and not hurt civilians. The end state, ill leave that to politicians to decide what happened. We in the military are focusing on our enemys military capabilities and making sure that this horrible situation that we found ourselves in from the morning of saturday, just almost a week ago now, wore a week in to the war that resulted in 1,300 dead israelis, that we never find ourselves in this situation again on the Southern Border and nowhere else. Neil you know, were getting these reports and showing you on air, sir, of these explosions over gaza. Separated reports that hezbollah has been acting up. Im wondering about this fear, the widening of the war and other players are coming in now to complicate things. That is a very significant concern that we have. Because if we zoom out a bit, to look at the regional picture, iran is about 600 miles away. They have their tentacles right around our borders. For many years, iran has built, equipped and funded different terrorist organizations. Hezbollah in lebanon being the biggest and hamas in gaza. And then theres others in syria. So when we look at what the possibilities for the future are, that is a possibility. One that we definitely do not want to see in this at this time and that is why we have enhanced our troops in the northern. Theres been lots of attempts by hezbollah during the last 24 hours to fire missiles, rockets, perhaps do an incursion. We have responded very quickly because we are there, deployed and ready. So far it seems as if hezbollah has heeded the warnings and any other enemy in the area if theyre thinking of attacking israel, dont. Neil all right, colonel. Thanks very much. Be safe yourself as you continue to conduct there campaign. Just to alert some of you just watching some of these developments in gaza right now, theres been reports of localized raids and explosions in gaza. The read on this from senator marco rubio. Senator, obviously things have escalated to the point right now where the attack or at least part of it seems to be on. What do you think . Well, theres no doubt that israel has to go on the ground. Ive said that publicly at some point. The goal here is to completely dismantle the ability of hamas to ever again do anything close to what we saw them do a week ago. This is a group that openly says we need to remind people as often as we can, this is not a Group Fighting because they want to govern gaza or they want a country, this is a Group Fighting because their stated purpose is to drive every jew out of the region and to set up a fundamentally Islamic State from the red sea to the jordan river. They want to take every jew out. Its a bad idea to have any 0, any sayings to slaughters babies to be in charge of any land much less a whole country. But thats israels neighbor across the way. Its unsustainable. No nation on earth would tolerate that. That group needs to be dismantled. The only way to do it is go in on the ground. Every time they do these things, they run off, hide behind civilians and then get the world to condemn israel when they strike back. This time it has to be different. Its not going to be easy. This is going to be difficult. Painful for everyone involved, including israel. Theres great danger. This is a grave time. I think theres a lot of factors at play, including risk of a broader regional conflict that is real, unpredictable and in some ways a volatile its not the kind of thing we should be cheering for and prevent. Its real needs to do what they need to do and America Needs to help them. Neil you were blunt about what should happen to hamas. You said they should be wiped out. That got you taken out and censored on youtube. What remained, horrendous things about what hamas said about wiping out israel. What do you think about that clear Double Standard . Weve gotten used to it unfortunately. These are companies that selectively choose what they want to censor and not censor and take down and not take down. What i got censored for is that hamas was a group of savages. I dont know any other word. Maybe theres a better word. I dont know of another word that a group of people would kill babies. They did not attack idf soldiers. They went after a concert, went after little children, raped teenage girls around teen Senior Citizens back with them. What other word describes these people . How can any nation be told you have to coexist with that group and figure out a way to work in agreement with them. They dont want an agreement. I dont understand why we continue to not believe and take them at their word when they say their goal is to drive every jew out of the middle east . Why dont we believe them when they say it . Especially after what they did. Israel has to dismantle them. This is not a surgical Simple Campaign that will be over in five days. It has tied to it the real possibility that it could trigger depending how it goes an attack from the north from hezbollah, Hamas Elements Out of the west bank and iran as the Puppet Master behind all of it. Neil were learning from reuters that russia is proposing a u. N. Security Council Resolution on israel and gaza to call for the immediate humanitarian cease fire. What do you think of that . Well, doesnt surprise me. Russia has two angles here. The first angle is they cooperate and work with all of these groups in the region in order to amplify their own importance in the world or their attempted importance. The second is they blame america for every source of instability in the region. So they play this double game. That is not going to go anywhere. I hope the i imagine the u. S. Will veto any effort to do so. At the end of the day, i wish there wasnt a single civilian in gaza. The israelis wish so as well. Every civilian death and casualty is the responsibility of hamas. Theyre hiding behind them. They put them as shields in front of them. The israelis have given warning and doing so for days. I pointed to this three days ago. Hamas was messaging people not to leave. They want those people to stay. They want them to die. The New York Times and the washington and the global press and be western elites, they want to put pressure so hamas can survive and a few months or years to come back and slaughter more jews. I cant happen again. Neil ive been reaching out to republicans about What Donald Trump said and weighed in on whats going there. His comment that got a lot of some controversial response referring toless to hezbollah is smart. Critical of netanyahu and what he missed and on and on. We heard from a number of the president ial candidates including ron desantis who said it was absurd that anyone much less someone running for president would choose now to attack our friend and ally israel. Do you think that was wise, What Donald Trump said . Well, let me just say this needs to be said at the outset to the extent thats how those words were interpreted by many, i dont think any president in American History has been a better friend of israel on any level than donald trump was when he was respect. I wouldnt have used the word smart. Cunning diabolical. I would have used those terms to describe hezbollah. Hezbollah is better armed, i equipped and trained and organized as hamas. Less what has far more capabilities. They almost are a quasi nation state. They control probably the most powerful entity inside of lebanon. Theyre a dangerous group. Thats how i would have described them. Im not the donald trump interpreter, but i doubt that he was saying that about them as a form of admiration. I can tell you youd being able to disclose fully because of the nature of it that donald trump did many things when he was president to harm hezbollah. As far as what he said about the Prime Minister, those are issues that he had. He interacted with them. Neil are they wise to say now, senator . Are they wise to say now . Its on the heels of him saying very nice things about north Koreas Kim Jongun and vladimir putin. Sometimes some rogue characters in the world for whom he has great respect. This at a tenuous time. Im wondering whether whatever you think about how he handles hezbollah and these other groups in the past, whether that is constructive now. Whether that is president ial now. I wouldnt have done it. The reason i wouldnt have done it, even though i think ive a greet with many things that Benning Thing Netanyahu has done. He has a lot of critics in israel. The one thing that has emerged is unity. Its not a fake unity. You see real unity in the face of this enemy that butchered all of these people. Its really important. That is going to be a key elements here as this goes from days to weeks. That unity will be tested. Neil if ron desantis doesnt think that it sounds like unity and mike pence doesnt think it sounds like unity and nikki haley doesnt think it sounds like unity, they must be on a to something. Well, look, at the end of the day, obviously thats why i would have said it. I dont want to contribute anything that would drive disunity. I dont think its going to be relevant here. At the end of the day, bombs are dropping and troops will move in. What will determine the outcome of this is what israel does, how their neighbors react and how the United States stands firmly, this is a real war here. This is not a side show, this is real. At the end of the day, i dont believe the back and forth of our president ial race will determine the outcome of this especially if we dont allow it to. Theres tremendous bipartisan support in congress with the exception of a number of fools. Theres strong bipartisan support to help israel finish the job. Neil thanks, marco. Senator marco rubio. We have han update on the speaker race. Chad pergram with more. Hi, chad. Neil, good afternoon. Theres not a vote in the House Of Representatives on the speaker tonight. I was told by a Senior Source here that they will send members home. They had a secondary vote to sum port jim jordan. The secondary vote was to pledge their votes to jim jordan on the floor. That vote was 152 to 55. With one member voting present. So jim jordan right now by my calculation, hes 65 votes short of having much the votes to win on the floor. Thats about the math. He would need 217 votes. So right now even though he got more support than Steve Scalise did a couple days ago, he doesnt have the votes to win. Theyre in a stasis right now in the House Of Representatives. They dont have anybody that can win. Neil, back to you. Neil all right. Thank you, my friend. Chad pergram on that well see where that goes. Meantime, the great rush to get out of israel and how that is sorting out.
